Service Fees
Unless agreed otherwise, compensations for attorney services are according to Decree 177/1996 Coll. on attorney remunerations and compensations for the rendition of attorney services (attorney rates), as amended, which has been issued by the Ministry of Justice.
We usually set a total compensation fee for a standalone provision of legal counsel with our clients (draw up a contract, etc.). In other cases, we arrange an hourly rate.
To our regular clients, we provide legal assistance for a flat monthly fee, which is based on a signed framework agreement for the provision of legal counsel.
We are registered for VAT.
Costs associated with the provision of legal counsel (court and administrative fees, fares, post fees, etc.) are paid by the client in addition to the legal actual counsel fees. Clients are always notified of such costs beforehand, including their respective amounts.
Fees for the safekeeping of legal documents or funds are arranged on an individual basis, based on the stored amounts or the value of the legal documents and the amount of work connected with the safekeeping.
Mgr. Žaneta Vítů is insured well above the legal insurance requirement required for attorneys, namely up to the amount of CZK 10 million and up to the amount CZK 2 million for activity as registered mediator. We have never needed to make any insurance claims.
Stored funds are kept in special attorney escrow accounts, which either bear or do not bear interest as agreed with the client. The funds being held are insured pursuant to relevant regulations.
